Apply For 2024 Master Mind Scholarship, Belgium

The Master Mind Scholarship offers a grant of €10,000 along with a tuition fee waiver per academic year (60 ECTS) for Master’s degree programs in Belgium. The scholarship covers accommodation costs, insurance, and a significant portion of living expenses.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Master Mind Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Apply to pursue a Master’s degree program at a higher education institution in Flanders.
  • Demonstrate high academic performance or potential with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 out of 4.0.
  • Have a good command of the English language (specific requirements vary, check the official website).
  • Be accepted by the host institution to receive the scholarship.
  • Only be nominated by one Flemish higher education institution.
  • Hold a previous degree from a higher education institution located outside Flanders.
  • Not be already enrolled in a Flemish higher education institution.

Application Process:

  1. Check your eligibility and if your chosen Flemish institution participates in the Master Mind Scholarships.
  2. Submit your application to the host institution.
  3. The host institution preselects eligible applications.
  4. The host institution initiates the application procedure for the Master Mind Scholarship using the Mobility-Online application tool.
  5. Upon being preselected, register in the Mobility-Online tool and complete your application file before the deadline.
  6. Ensure all required documents are uploaded and submitted by the deadline of April 28, 2024, 23:59 GMT+1.

Required Documents:

  • Passport photo
  • International passport or national ID
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) including your GPA out of 4.0, publications, academic awards, previous scholarships, etc.
  • Transcript of records; certified translations required if not in Dutch, French, German, or English.
  • English language test results or letter of exemption provided by the host university.
  • Letter of motivation written in English.
  • Two signed letters of recommendation from professors or recent employers in English.
  • Copy of acquired diploma(s); certified translations required if not in Dutch, French, German, or English.
