SUMMARY:

As a Server – Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing efficient, courteous, and professional dining service to all guests in line with Grand Casino’s service standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

• Efficiently and courteously serve food and beverages to restaurant guests in accordance with venue standards.
• Take and fulfill drink orders, maintain a clean dining area, and adhere to cash handling control policies.
• Set tables according to venue standards and have in-depth knowledge of the menu to enhance guest dining experiences with suggestive selling techniques.
• Restock stations with necessary items for service and promptly fulfill guest requests.
• Address guest questions, concerns, and challenges with respect, dignity, and integrity.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary area in accordance with health regulations.
• Knowledge of the Dram Shop Act and server responsibilities.
• Collaborate with other Grand Casino associates to ensure efficient operational standards.
• Flexibility to work in various food and beverage outlets.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• At least one year of previous bartending and/or serving experience.
• Alcohol Awareness Training certification required within 2 months.
