Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the University of Salford Excellence Scholarship, you must:

• Be addressed as an international student for fee-paying purposes, paying regular international tuition fees for the duration of the program.
• Be a new student at the University of Salford, not continuing or progressing from one program to another.
• Study full-time, on-campus for the duration of the program.
• Study an eligible undergraduate program. Note that scholarships are not available for postgraduate students.
• Be self-funding. International awards are not available if any part of the tuition fees is paid through a sponsoring organization.
• Not apply for a program where the tuition fee has been negotiated as part of a partnership or other arrangement to make the fee non-standard.

Application Process:

1. Apply via the online application form provided by the University of Salford.
2. Focus on the two-part scholarship essay, which should cover the following sections:

   Part 1: Describe how your previous experiences and achievements will contribute to your success at the University of Salford. This should include examples of academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and any other relevant experiences. Your essay should be no longer than 300 words.

   Part 2: Explain how your chosen program of study will enhance your understanding of the subject and positively contribute to your home country. Discuss your commitment to your field of study and how your education will benefit your home country at a national, regional, or community level. Your essay should be no longer than 300 words.

3. Submit your application before the deadline of April 15, 2024.
