The project aims to develop novel approaches to enable the use of Digital Image Correlation (DIC) during cryogenic mechanical testing, significantly enhancing current instrumentation capabilities.

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold an undergraduate degree at 2.1 level (or Non-UK equivalent) in Engineering or a relevant science discipline.
  • Fulfill Swansea University’s English Language proficiency requirements.

  • Submit the following required documents:
    • CV
    • Degree certificates and transcripts
    • Cover letter, including a ‘Supplementary Personal Statement’ explaining your suitability for the position and project development ideas.
    • Two references (academic or previous employer) on headed paper or using the Swansea University reference form.
    • Evidence of meeting English Language requirement (if applicable)
    • Copy of UK resident visa (if applicable)
    • Confirmation of EDI form submission (optional)
