Kyungdong University (KDU) Global Campus, in collaboration with the Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA), is offering the KDU Global – IUCEA Scholarships 2024 for students from the East African Community (EAC) member countries. This scholarship presents a remarkable opportunity for students to pursue undergraduate studies in various English medium degree programs at one of South Korea’s leading international educational institutions.

Program Details:

  • Duration: Up to 4 years
  • Value of Award:
    • Full tuition fee coverage of $10,000 per year (by KDU Global)
    • On-campus accommodation fee coverage of $1,600 per year (by KDU Global)
    • Return air ticket at the beginning and end of every two years (by IUCEA)
    • Health insurance support every month for 4 years (by IUCEA)
    • Application processing and handling fee of $200 after selection (by IUCEA)

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen and resident of any East African Community Partner State (Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda).
  • Have completed pre-university education with excellent results in 2022 or 2023.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English, with minimum grades of B in mathematics and English.
  • Not be more than 22 years of age.
