The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Turkiye Scholarships aim to support academically meritorious and financially disadvantaged young Muslim students from Muslim communities globally to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, and training programs. This initiative underscores the importance of human capital development for social advancement and sustainable development.

Types of Scholarships:

  1. IsDB Scholarship Program for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries (SPMC)
  2. IsDB Master of Science Scholarship Program (M.Sc.)
  3. IsDB Merit Scholarship Program for High Technology (MSP)
  4. IsDB-ISFD Scholarship Program

Application Process:

  1. Visit the Türkiye Scholarships website to access the application portal.
  2. Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria specified for your chosen scholarship program.
  3. Complete the application form accurately, providing all necessary information and supporting documents.
  4. Submit your application before the specified deadline.

Value & Duration of Award:

  • Monthly stipend varying according to the country of study.
  • Full tuition fee coverage.
  • Medical insurance.
  • Roundtrip airline tickets.
  • Settlement allowance (for students studying abroad).
  • Graduation thesis preparation allowance (for postgraduate students).
  • Conference participation allowance, books, and clothing allowance (for doctoral students).
  • Allowance for preparing scientific papers (post-doctoral program).

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Demonstrated financial need.
  • Maximum age of 24 years.
  • Not affiliated with the IsDB Group or close relatives of IsDB staff.
  • Completed senior secondary education with good grades in major science subjects.
  • Language proficiency in the university’s medium of instruction (e.g., English or French).
  • Medically fit and willing to undergo a medical examination after selection.
  • Ideally, secured admission in one of the covered disciplines at a recognized college or university in your home country.
  • Not residing in a country other than your home country.
  • Not a beneficiary of any other scholarship at the time of application and during studies.

Ensure all required documents are certified and translated into English or French if they are initially in another language.
