In a recent development opportunity, we are actively seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior OutSystems Developer to take the lead in our dynamic development team. This remote role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining complex web and mobile applications using the OutSystems platform. Besides serving as a technical mentor, the selected individual will ensure the implementation of best practices, scalability, and code quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record as a Senior OutSystems Developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience.
• Extensive knowledge of OutSystems development concepts, covering reactive and traditional web applications, mobile apps, and integrations.
• Expertise in designing and developing user interfaces using OutSystems UI patterns and best practices.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving technical excellence and ensuring successful project delivery.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership abilities.
• OutSystems certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of scalable and robust web and mobile applications using the OutSystems low-code platform, involving hands-on development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and deliver innovative technical solutions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, offering technical expertise, conducting code reviews, and organizing knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Advocate for best practices in OutSystems development, encompassing design patterns, performance optimization, Forge components, decision-making between custom and OutSystems development, and security considerations.
• Participate actively in the entire software development life cycle, from ideation to deployment and post-launch support.
• Tackle and resolve intricate technical issues in existing applications.
• Stay abreast of the latest OutSystems features, tools, and industry trends, incorporating them into the development process.
