Position: Senior Appian Developer

Location: Remote, anywhere within the United States

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Appian Developer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Collaborating on growth-related activities, such as RFI, RFP, prototypes, and oral presentations, based on your expertise and interests.
• Upholding and maintaining the necessary certifications for your practice expertise.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in all phases of software development for large-scale business critical applications following Agile methodologies.
• Recent hands-on experience (at least 3 years) with Appian.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a developer in designing, configuring, and debugging forms, reports, business logic, interface components, and systems integrations.
• At least 1 year of experience with relational databases, DML and DDL SQL scripting.
• US Citizenship or Green Card is required (mandatory for federal government positions).
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Must reside in the United States, and the work must be performed in the United States due to federal contract requirements.

Desired Skills:

• Active Appian Certification.
• Java developer experience is a strong plus.
• Experience working with Appian Sites.
• Recent work experience on a software development project in a federal government setting.
• Experience with Agile Framework.
• Experience in defining and documenting architecture for technology implementations using different architectural views.
• Exposure to common industry platforms and programming languages – Appian, IBM WebSphere, Mule, LAMP/JBOSS, HADOOP, Java, Microsoft/.Net is preferred.
• Experience configuring stored procedures.
• Ability to understand the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term perspectives of situations.
• Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.
• Excellent analytical and technical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.

Pay Range:

The final pay for this position depends on various factors, such as relevant work experience, skills, certifications, geographic location, education, and specific contract provisions regarding labor categories. For this position, the pay range is $82,673.00 – $140,544.00.
