Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will be responsible for various tasks, including but not limited to:

• Assisting with new project setup and subsequent maintenance in the IFS ERP system.
• Maintaining project records and databases.
• Analyzing project status, procurement status, and overall project progress based on project data and writing reports.
• Preparing Internal Progress Report (IPR) records and project schedules.
• Preparing EAC updates and change orders.
• Contacting vendors to expedite deliveries if necessary.
• Soliciting cost estimates for change proposals or EAC inputs.
• Generating invoices, packing notes, procurement requisitions, and other forms to support project execution.
• Preparing project spending profiles.
• Acting as a primary liaison with customers.
• Making decisions and recommendations within established guidelines and procedures.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Proficiency in German (spoken and written) is an asset.
• An engineering degree, commerce degree, or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management or a combination of education and experience.
• A proven methodology of project management.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills to maintain excellent customer relations.
• Experience with or knowledge of high-tech products is an asset.
• Effective teamwork skills when working with customer teams, colleagues in project management, internal services, and external suppliers.
