Job Description:

As an Inventory Management Support C, your responsibilities will include:

• Handling the physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Unpacking and checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records of received goods, and rejecting unsatisfactory items when necessary.
• Ability to stand on feet for extended periods (up to 9 hours) and handle items weighing up to 45 lbs., using proper lifting techniques and material handling aids (e.g., pallet jacks, height adjustable carts, etc.).
• Preparing and maintaining records of merchandise shipped.
• Examining, stocking, and distributing materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and compliance with Harris specific Environment Health and Safety policy/procedures regarding material handling.
• Packaging hazardous materials and preparing required hazmat documentation.
• Preparing and packaging materials for shipment in accordance with MIL-STD 2073.
• Knowledge of packaging techniques following ASTM Best Practices procedures.
• Handling and packaging classified material for shipment.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Experience working in a warehouse and/or production environment.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
• Experience with MRP and Agile/PDM software tools.
• Organizational skills.

However, the final offer amount may vary based on factors such as experience and geographic location.
