Job Summary:

PISI Integrated Services, a licensed lottery company by the Nigerian Communications Commission and the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, seeks a DevOps Engineer for a full-time remote role. The role entails overseeing the software development process, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and managing Linux-based systems.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Software Development Lifecycle: Oversee the entire software development process, from code building to deployment.
• Infrastructure Management: Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration (CI) systems.
• System Administration: Administer systems running on Linux platforms.
• Troubleshooting: Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Agile & DevOps: Apply Agile and DevOps methodologies to streamline development and deployment processes.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration (CI).
• Strong background in system administration and Linux.
• Software development skills to support automation and tooling efforts.
• Familiarity with Digital Ocean.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant professional certifications such as AWS, CompTIA, etc., are advantageous.
• Experience in the telecoms, VAS, lottery, betting, gaming, or technology industry is preferred.
