Job Summary:

Jobberman, a leading recruitment agency, urgently seeks a talented and experienced Storage Area Network (SAN) and Backup/Recovery Engineer to join our dedicated IT team. As a crucial member, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization’s SAN infrastructure and backup/recovery solutions.

Job Description/Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Manage DELLEMC Unity and PowerMax Storage solutions to meet the customer’s storage needs.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and optimal performance of DELLEMC SAN infrastructure.
• Manage DELLEMC Data Domain and Networker backup solutions.
• Manage backup systems, conducting regular tests and audits to guarantee data integrity and availability.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to SAN infrastructure, backup systems, and recovery processes promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex storage and recovery challenges.
• Conduct regular capacity assessments to forecast storage requirements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to storage and backup practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in designing and managing Storage Area Networks.
• Expertise in configuring and maintaining backup solutions.
• Strong knowledge of SAN protocols (e.g., Fibre Channel, iSCSI) and backup/recovery software/tools.
• Ability to work efficiently in urgent and high-pressure situations.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., DELLEMC) will be highly valued.

Work Duration: 1 Year Contract and Renewable.

Remuneration: NGN 2,000,000 monthly
