Job Summary:

Lopterra Services Limited is seeking a skilled and dedicated Chemical Pathologist to join their medical diagnostics team. The Chemical Pathologist will play a vital role in analyzing bodily fluids, interpreting laboratory test results, and contributing to accurate disease diagnosis and management.

  • Minimum Qualification: MBBS
  • Experience Level: Mid level
  • Experience Length: 3 years

Responsibilities:

Laboratory Analysis:

  • Conduct biochemical analyses of blood, urine, and other bodily fluids.
  • Utilize advanced laboratory techniques and equipment to ensure accurate test results.

Result Interpretation:

  • Interpret laboratory test results and provide diagnostic insights for patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and treatment plans.

Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor and manage quality assurance processes within the laboratory.
  • Implement standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of results.

Test Selection:

  • Advise clinicians on appropriate laboratory tests for specific medical conditions.
  • Stay updated on advancements in clinical chemistry and recommend new tests.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with laboratory technicians and healthcare teams for effective communication.

Research and Development:

  • Engage in research activities to enhance laboratory practices.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in clinical pathology.

Training and Education:

  • Provide training to laboratory staff and healthcare professionals on laboratory techniques.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a practicing Chemical Pathologist.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree.
  • Completion of mandatory internship program approved by MDCN.
  • Board certification and medical license.
  • Residency or postgraduate training in Chemical/Clinical Pathology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
