Scholarship value
Recipients of UCL Global Masters Scholarship will receive will receive £15,000 for one year.
Eligibility requirements
To be eligible, you must:
- come from a lower income background. See UCL’s definition of low income background
- be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate
- have submitted an admission application for a full-time Master’s degree at UCL in 2022/2023.
You are required to submit an application for admission in order to be able to apply for the UCL Global Masters Scholarship. If you have not yet submitted an application for a place for 2022/23, then you will not be able to apply for this funding.

Application for this scholarship is made online. If you fulfill the eligibility requirements above, kindly follow the steps below for your application.
- Login to Portico with your normal details
- Click on the ‘View’ button for the ‘Active Application’ that you wish to apply for funding for
- In the application screen, click on the ‘Funding’ in the menu at the top of the page
- Click on ‘Check and apply’ under ‘Funds Available’ to find out which funds you are eligible to apply for on the funding page
- Finally, click on the scholarship name of the scheme that you wish to apply for
- Take time to answer questions as they may arise during your application.
