In awarding this scholarship, regards are not given applicant’s personal or parent’s income. Scholarship Value
The scholarship funding is usually granted for at least 2 semesters but may be provided for a maximum time which covers the standard period of study. At intervals of 2 semesters the university reviews whether the scholarship holder still meets the award criteria and whether private funding will continue to be available for such holder. Each scholar is entitled to €300 per month (€150 are supplied by private sponsors and €150 by the Federal Government).
Eligibility Requirements
For you to be eligible for the Deutschlandstipendium National Scholarship Programme, you must:
- Have a proof of your prior application academic level
- Have excellent academic results
- Have outstanding record civic engagements such as leadership, community services, etc.
- Prove your ability to overcome obstacles and individual challenges or challenges arising from your family background.
