Are you a seasoned professional in the hospitality industry with a passion for excellence? Mathills Services Limited is seeking a skilled Hotel Manager to lead our team in Imo.

Job Summary:

  • Experience Length: 3 years


  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring quality standards and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Develop and achieve the hotel’s annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan, and Capital Budget.
  • Ensure ongoing profitability by meeting and exceeding revenue and guest satisfaction targets.
  • Set specific goals and plans to prioritize and organize work effectively.
  • Lead the Front Office team to drive guest satisfaction and financial results.
  • Conduct department meetings and communicate clear goals consistently.
  • Review staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives.
  • Manage department expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
  • Lead and influence others through interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional service to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Mentor and coach team members to improve knowledge and skills.
  • Establish challenging yet achievable goals to guide operations and performance.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, including 1 year as Hotel General Manager.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Additional hospitality certifications are advantageous.


  • Proficient in hospitality standards and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software.
  • Customer-focused with outstanding customer service skills.
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
