Job Summary:

Meeva Green Consulting, a renowned consulting firm based in Surulere, Lagos State, is dedicated to delivering exceptional audit, tax, and consulting services to a diverse range of clients across various industries. We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Accountants in our Audit Unit (Consulting). This role is integral to our Audit and Regulation functions.

Job Description/Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing audit engagements under the supervision of senior team members.
• Conduct thorough testing of financial statements, internal controls, and accounting systems to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
• Perform substantive testing procedures to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Document audit findings and communicate observations to the engagement team and client management.
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports and other deliverables for presentation to clients.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
• Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and industry trends relevant to audit engagements.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance technical skills and knowledge of auditing principles.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or any related field.
• 3 years of working experience.
