The DPU70 Scholarships, supported by The Bartlett Promise Scholarship and funded by The Bartlett Development Planning Unit, aim to foster collaborations fundamental to the African continent by providing full scholarships for outstanding students from Sub-Saharan African countries.

Eligible Countries: Sub Saharan African Countries

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the DPU70 Full Scholarships, applicants must:

• Be nationals of a Sub Saharan African country and residents in an eligible SSA country.
• Not hold British or dual British citizenship.
• Have an offer of admission to a master’s course at The Bartlett Development Planning Unit for study in the 2024-25 academic year.
• Demonstrate financial need as assessed by UCL.
• Ideally meet at least one of the additional criteria:
  • Be a forced migrant.
  • Be the first generation in the family to attend university at undergraduate level.
  • Be the first generation in the family to attend university at postgraduate level.
