Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for this prestigious scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

• Enrolled in an HDR course of study at Deakin University
• Completed at least four years of tertiary education studies
• Not receiving an equivalent award or scholarship from the Commonwealth for HDR fees
• Achieved 80% or equivalent in the research component of previous study
• Meet all other minimum entry requirements according to the HDR Admission, Selection, and Enrolment Procedure

How to Apply:

1. Contact a potential supervisor and discuss your research interests.
2. If the supervisor agrees to supervision, complete and submit an Expression of Interest (EoI) form at least 4 weeks before the scholarship deadline.
3. The prospective applicant fills out sections 1-9 of the EoI form and sends it to the supervisor.
4. The supervisor completes sections 10-13 of the EoI form and sends it, along with additional documentation, to the chosen faculty’s email.
